Being Kind is a State of Mind

To help and assist – and be mindful of this, when you’re kind you feel good, there’s a new brotherhood.

Where you don’t know them and they don’t know you, but it’s what you can say and what you can do Just a simple ‘hello’ as you come and you go can make someone feel special for the rest of the day.

So be kind and considerate don’t just walk away.

Healthy Eating

Eat healthy food whenever possible including fruit and vegetables

Fruit and Nuts

Eat moderately and if you need to snack, try nuts and dried berries

Exercise

Take regular exercise, be that walking, jogging or cycling

Alcohol

Drink in moderation – Limit alcohol consumption during the week

Water

Take in plenty of water each day, 3.7 liters of fluids for men and 2.7 liters for women

Face Masks

Wear a face mask in a dusty environment or where air quality is low

Ear Protection

Wear ear defenders in a noisy environment

Gloves

Wear appropriate gloves to protect hands (washing up, gardening, car maintenance)

Glasses

Wear protective glasses to avoid getting particles in your eyes

Skin

Look after your skin with moisturizer and sun screen when out in the sun

Don't Frown

Try not to frown – turn that frown upside down!

Sing

Try singing – join a choir, sing in the shower or whistle while you work
